Importing 1099 NEC from 2019 1099 MISC

Follow the same procedures as above. When selecting the form type and payer each of the 1099 MISC payers will be split into two groups those with Non-Employee compensation and those without. Those with Non-employee compensation will be presented with the new form type and highlighted in green.

Also note that when you select the NEC payer all the payees are listed, but the payees with Non-employee compensation will be selected the others by default will not be. This will give you control over which payees you want to bring over to the new NEC form.
